This Cookie Policy explains how Soulistic Vibes Wellness (“Soulistic Vibes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Jennifer Gagnon, uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. We also use related technologies such as local storage and similar tokens, which we refer to collectively as “cookies” in this policy.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for core functionality such as signing in, keeping your session active, securing your account, and processing payments through Stripe. The site cannot work properly without these, so they do not require consent.
- Functional cookies — remember your preferences and choices to give you a smoother experience.
- Performance & analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are used only where permitted and, where required, after you consent.
- Security cookies — set by our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, to protect the site against malicious activity and to maintain availability.
3. Cookies Set by Third Parties
Some cookies are set by the service providers we rely on to operate the site:
- Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention during checkout.
- Cloudflare — security, bot mitigation, and content delivery.
These providers use cookies in line with their own policies. Resend (email) and Neon (database) support our services but do not set cookies in your browser.
4. How Long Cookies Last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them. Sign-in and security cookies typically last for the duration of your session or a limited period to keep you logged in.
5. Managing Your Preferences
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, including blocking some or all cookies or asking to be notified when a cookie is set. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site — such as signing in or completing a purchase — from working. Where consent is required for non-essential cookies, we will request it and you can change your choice at any time.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information, including the data associated with cookies. These include the rights described in the GDPR (Articles 15–20) for residents of the European Union and United Kingdom, and the rights provided by Québec’s Law 25 and comparable Canadian and U.S. laws. See our Privacy Policy for full details and how to exercise them.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
